The 4th edition of the Due Diligence Series of six books will be released from April to Sptember 2026. The series provides clear, practical explanations of work health and safety (WHS) law across Australian jurisdictions that have adopted the Model WHS Laws, including the Commonwealth, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory, and the Australian Capital Territory.
The series has been updated for significant developments since the last edition, including the introduction of industrial manslaughter laws, new reporting obligations, new duties regarding psychosocial harm, increased penalties and new enforcement mechanisms, such as the rights of industrial organisations in some jurisdictions. Jurisdictional differences are highlighted where they exist. As with previous editions, cases are used to illustrate the application of the duties and obligations in practice.
